摘要: Literature surrounding safety issues affecting the child welfare system is examined with a special emphasis on rural Appalachia. A review of existing literature regarding personal and training employees revealed limitations. The annual conference National Association Social Workers in West Virginia provided venue for gathering information overall incidents threatening nature to social workers. Information numbers types trainings workers was also explored. Two authors designed workshop as focus group from which could be used lobby policy change. suggest recommendations improved worker procedures, training, agency support.
