摘要: The fine structure characterization of individual legs is essential for understanding the detailed formation mechanism and origin unique properties tetrapod-like ZnO nanostructures. We have synthesized nanostructures with thin needle (TN-ZnO), uniform hexagonal prism (TU-ZnO), hierarchical (TH-ZnO) through oxidization zinc vapor followed by condensation at relatively lower temperatures. as-synthesized nanotetrapods were characterized complementarily scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), dispersive spectrum (EDS), cathodoluminescence (CL). demonstrated that wurtzite prefer to grow along [0001] direction. found all grew from similar ZnOx nuclei, where x about 0.3, them showed a strong visible luminescent property.
