摘要: : Upper gastrointestinal bleeding is a leading cause of death in patients with liver cirrhosis. In most cases haemorrhage originates from oesophageal varices or congestive gastropathy, and the evaluation risk based on oesophagogastroduodenoscopic data. The aim this prospective study was to determine whether measurement portal flow velocity by Duplex-Doppler, compared endoscopic data, can help detecting cirrhosis at bleeding. One hundred seventy-three underwent endoscopy ascertain size severity gastropathy. For each patient maximal measurements were obtained. No difference observed between without During 2-year observation period, 27 (15.6%) had least one episode acute digestive Stepwise multiple logistic regression analysis demonstrated correlation gastropathy grading incidence bleeding; only former entered into final equation (p>0.001). relationship max value found. This shows that unrelated degree abnormalities it has no identification upper
