摘要: This paper presents a novel, compact and simple reconfigurable antenna using coplanar waveguide feed which has frequency, polarization pattern diversities. The basic consists of four rectangular patches dimensions 5 mm × 4 mm. Three switches are used to connect these with different switching modes, the desired reconfigurability is achieved. operating frequency/band can be selected as 5.15 GHz (with 33.6% impedance bandwidth) or 5.55 GHz 55% in two modes. Reconfiguration takes place from linear right hand circular left polarization, capable rotating its radiation beam by ±180°. measured results good agreement simulated ones. exhibits return loss characteristics, acceptable gain VSWR.
