摘要: Abstract Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology was used to estimate the environmental impacts and identify most critical stages (hotspots) of cultivation three cereal crops typically for animal feed purposes – barley, rye sorghum in Lombardy region, productive crop livestock area Northern Italy. The variety (out 3 4 varieties barley rye, respectively) regime (single vs. double cropping sorghum) with lowest per kg crude protein (mass-based functional unit) were identified. Environmental impact categories reported by ReCiPe method used. According results, both Reni Dank Nowe varieties, respectively; single had lower than cropping. Impact hotspots included field emissions, agricultural activities agrochemical (fertilisers herbicides) production regardless system considered. Moreover, among cereals studies, identified as best alternative. Use land-based economic units did not change ranking systems according their impacts.
