摘要: An annotated list is presented for 81 species of lady beetles (Coccinellidae: Coleoptera) that occur in the state Iowa, U.S.A., based on literature searches and a review over 3500 specimens institutional private collections. The includes new records Scymnus tenebrosus Mulsant, Diomus debilis (LeConte), Hyperaspis lateralis deludens Gordon, Epilachna borealis (F.), Subcoccinella vigintiquatuorpunctata (L.), as well county non-native species, Harmonia axyridis (Pallas). Collection are discussed Nephaspis oculatus (Blatchley), Hyperaspidius militaris Coccinella californica Mannerheim, S. vigintiquatuorpunctata, which have Iowa disjunct from their larger geographic distributions North America. I also discuss collection need additional collecting coccinellids especially Adalia bipunctata (Schneider), transversoguttata richardsoni Brown, novemnotata Herbst, were once common widespread but declined drastically much America, including Iowa.
