摘要: PURPOSE. Serum eye drops have been successfully used in the treatment of severe ocular surface disorders. Fresh frozen plasma (FFP) and platelet concentrates not yet tested for use as drops, although they are easily available quality-controlled products from blood banks routinely transfusion. To test whether FFP or platelet-derived growth factor solutions could be diseases, we compared epitheliotrophic capacity releasate with that serum cell culture models. METHODS. The concentrations EGF, TGF-1, PDGF-AB, fibronectin, vitamin A E serum, FFP, were evaluated ELISA HPLC. Corneal epithelial cells incubated various preparations proliferation, migration, differentiation by means a luminescence-based adenosine triphosphate (ATP) assay, colony dispersion scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS. Growth significantly higher than lowest FFP. Fibronectin vitamins found releasate. Cell proliferation was best supported followed FFP; however, migration better reduced nutrient part to due an antiproliferative effect citrate anticoagulant production process. CONCLUSIONS. Platelet but may offer additional potential disease. suitable novel option disease superior on growth. (Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 2006;47:2438‐2444) DOI:10.1167/iovs.05-0876
