摘要: In order to identify genes involved in the development of central nervous system (CNS) we have undertaken a gain function screen embryonic CNS Drosophila. Transposable P-elements and UAS/GAL4 were used initiate transcription pan-neural pattern using scaGAL4. Over 4100 individual P-element insertion lines screened with monoclonal antibodies BP102 1D4 visualize axon pathways. Twenty-five insertions corresponding 18 resulted aberrant pathfinding when misexpressed Genes guidance, patterning, cell cycle regulation isolated. addition, identified several zinc finger factors not previously implicated guidance or development. This group includes Squeeze, Kruppel homolog-1, Hepatocyte nuclear factor 4, two uncharacterized genes, CG11966 CG9650. Calnexin99A, putative molecular chaperone, was isolated as well.
