摘要: To elucidate the mechanisms regulating expression of para, which encodes major class sodium channels in Drosophila nervous system, we have tried to locate upstream cis-acting regulatory elements by mapping transcriptional start site and analyzing region immediately para 14D polytene chromosomes. From these studies, discovered that contains a cluster neurally expressing genes. Here report molecular characterization genomic organization genes within this region, are: calnexin (Cnx), actin related protein (Arp14D), calcineurin A (CnnA14D), chromosome associated (Cap). The tight clustering genes, their neuronal patterns, potential functions expression, modulation, or regulation raise possibility represent functionally group sharing some coordinate mechanism.
