摘要: Knockdown resistance (kdr) to pyrethroid insecticides has been found in numerous insect species, kdr causes nerve insensitivity by altering the primary target of these insecticides, voltage-sensitive sodium channel. InMusca domestica, cloning and sequencing susceptible, kdr, andsuper-kdr alleles channel gene (Msc) homologous theDrosophila melanogaster para revealed point mutations. The conservation nature position mutations strongly suggests a role thekdr mechanism. To determine if are associated with modifications expression adult flies, we investigated localization theMsc transcripts, size tissue distribution protein pyrethroid-susceptible strains. Msc channels were mainly cortical regions central nervous system additional labeling some neuronal processes eyes. No qualitative or quantitative difference was observed between In immunoblotting experiments, anti-Msc antibodies bound only one polypeptide 260 kDa brain. differences antibody staining susceptible pyrethroid-resistant These results correlated those onDrosophila melanogaster, for which two genes have identified.
