摘要: Abstract Objectives: Our aim was to verify whether the quantitative determination of PSA mRNA in circulating cells is helpful diagnosing and scoring localized prostate cancer (PC). Design methods: The study included 145 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), 138 PC 28 healthy controls (CS). cDNA amplified by real-time PCR from mononuclear cells. Serum total free were determined. Prostate cancers histologically scored according Gleason criteria. Results: most sensitive index tPSA (70%), specific f/t (80%). High found more frequently poorly differentiated (23.1%) than those well (4.5%) or moderately (4.3%) tumors. Conclusions: are best available tools for discriminating between BPH. assessment blood might be biochemical grading cancer.
