摘要: A lattice model of the metal electrode–electrolyte interface is presented which partitions region into a number planar layers. In each layer statistical competition occurs between ions and solvent molecules, represented as point charges finite length dipoles, respectively. Differential capacitance other results are compared with those earlier models experiments. Agreement experiments requires explicit inclusion an inner properties differ from remainder system. The may consist finite‐length dipoles alone, or both charges. use drastically changes high field saturation layers, involving infinitesimal (point) dipoles. Very little dielectric at physically realizable fields.
