摘要: Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) targets occasionally require the presence of diagnostic dopants to facilitate temperature measurements. To this end poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) (PMP or TPX) foams were produced with very low densities (3 5 mg/cc) and levels dopants. The added titanium (Ti), chromium (Cr), manganese (Mn). transition metal doped loadings as high 1 wt%, between 3 mg/cc. average foam determined using β-transmission, dopant amounts x-ray fluorescence. Procedures for production measurements resulting characteristics will be presented.
