摘要: Abstract Pharmacological properties of S. sclarea and desoleana oils are discussed in relation to their chemical composition. After systemic administration, these had a depressant action on the CNS mice hydrocholeretic effect rats. Otherstudies demonstrated also good anti-inflammatory activity rats as well peripheral analgesic mice. These essential possess invitro antimicrobial against some humanpathogen strains is comparable officinalis oil, known for its antiseptic properties. In vitro studies carried out mucoadhesive preparations showed ability oil components permeate oral mucous. This could be interest treatment humaninflammatory diseases mucous tissues, frequently associated with microbial infections. able inhibit growth phytopathogenic fungi therefore useful agronomic field an alternative synthetic compounds, view reducing environmental pollution. Some biological effects were correlated composition kind formulations utilized order examine possible applications human medicine. All pharmacological activities seem attributable content oxygenated like alcohols (mainly linalool alpha-terpineol) esters (linalyl alpha-terpinyl acetate). Experimental observations point hypothesis synergic between different components, even if toto more active than fractions or single components.
