摘要: The aims of this study were to test the antifungal activity, toxicity and chemical composition essential oil from C. sativum L. fruits. oil, obtained by hydro-distillation, was analyzed gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy. Linalool main constituent (58.22%). considered bioactive, showing an LC50 value 23 µg/mL in Artemia salina lethality test. activity evaluated against Microsporum canis Candida spp. agar-well diffusion method minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) fungicidal (MFC) established broth microdilution method. induced growth inhibition zones 28 ± 5.42 9.25 0.5 for M. respectively. MICs MFCs strains ranged 78 620 150 1,250 µg/mL, spp 310 is active vitro demonstrating good activity.
