摘要: The problem of treatment a combination failed hip arthroplasty secondary to resorption, osteoporosis, osteolysis, or fracture is unsolved. Twenty-seven such complicated hips, including four with previous infection, were treated by femoral prosthesis driven into an intramedullary nail. goal stability, allowing immediate mobilization, was attained in virtually all patients. oldest 84 years age and the mean 69.3 years. In early postoperative period, one patient died pulmonary embolism myocardial infarction. Two infections 25 11 months after implantation; these patients free from pain showed no signs loosening implant. time hospital for infected 60 days noninfected 23 days. Among 14 who observed at least ten surgery, freedom achieved eight, significant alleviation five, slight improvement one.
