Innovation challenges for European agriculture

摘要: With rising public concern over animal welfare, food safety and GM crops, Europe’s farmers, breeders processors are caught in the eye of a storm. While some “returning to soil” with traditional organic methods, others breeding crops animals using biotechnology, for markets as diverse power generation pharmaceuticals. For policymakers social ecological sustainability paramount, but information is also prerequisite meaningful debate.
