摘要: The phototoxicity potential of pyrene on natural algae and bacteria in an arctic sediment was evaluated compared to that treatment alone based some functional structural endpoints. Microcosms with from a shallow-water marine bay were incubated under three different light regimes, sunlight UV-light (Light(UV)), without (Light) dark.Presence directly affected the algal community measured as decreased (14)C-incorporation ammonium, nitrate silicate uptake. These direct toxic effects eventually led indirect bacterial observed increased oxygen consumption. Besides toxicity benthic microbial community, indications found detected consumption diversity Light(UV) Light. No indication algae, which might be due high pyrene. Our results indicate shallow areas by if concentrations oil components sediments increase.
