摘要: A theory of membrane viscoelasticity developed by Evans and Hochmuth in 1976 is used to analyze the time-dependent recovery an elongated cell. Before release, cell static equilibrium where external forces are balanced elastic force resultants. Upon recovers its initial shape with a exponential behavior characteristic viscoelastic solid model. It shown that model describes process very well for time constant range 0.1–0.13 s. The ratio surface viscosity eta:membrane elasticity mu. Measurements shear modulus mu 0.006 dyne/cm give value red as material eta = tc (6–8) X 10(-4) poise . cm.
