摘要: Background The Berlin Questionnaire is an explorative tool of 13 questions designed to identify patients with obstructive sleep apnea. are targeted toward key symptoms snoring, apneas, daytime sleepiness, hypertension and overweight. Methods 153 undergoing pulmonary rehabilitation were screened for apnea via i) ApneaLink (ResMed, Munich) ii) the Questionnaire. Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) was administered grade sleepiness. Results screening questionnaires prospectively compared. Respiratory Disturbance Index (RDI) used compute predictive performance also compared previously published data from a primary care patient cohort. At cut-off RDI=10/h, had sensitivity 62.5 %, specificity 53.8 positive value 38.4 negative 74.2 likelihood ratio 1.35 0.69. RDI=15/h, 67.2 52.8 25.1 84.7 1.42 0.62. There evidence that participants this study suffered increased sleepiness (ESS=8.8 +/- 4.8). group more likely snore, have apneas (men 6.7 % often, women 12.6 often) suffer 19.0 14.6 than control group. Also, overweight prevalent 6.1 11.1 often). Conclusions poor predictor in random rehabilitation.
