摘要: In non destructive testing and more recently in medical applications ultrasonic transducers have been used for emitting or receiving brief signals. It is specially important that these signals must decrease rapidly enough to avoid masking of weak echoes behind strong ones. For this reason diffraction effects on focused transient radiation the object numerous studies past years. Although impulse theory seems be mastered now, characteristics remain very constitute often main limiting features spatial axial longitudinal resolution achieved from either single arrays.
