摘要: A 53-year-old woman was referred for ventricular fibrillation with resuscitation. CT-angiography showed signs of a right enlargement without obvious cause. cardiac MRI demonstrated dilated and hypokinetic ventricle extensive late gadolinium enhancement. Arrhythmogenic dysplasia (ARVD) suspected according to the "revised ARVD task force criteria". An endomyocardial biopsy inconclusive. The patient developed purulent pericarditis after epicardial ablation therapy died toxic shock syndrome. post-mortem pathologic examination sarcoidosis involving heart, lungs, thyroid gland.
