Isolated Cardiac Sarcoidosis Mimicking Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy.

摘要: The diagnosis of cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) has become easier due to advances in imaging modalities, but we sometimes encounter difficult-to-diagnose patients. We herein report the case a 60-year-old Japanese woman who was diagnosed with isolated CS, although she also met diagnostic criteria arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC). A histological examination by an endomyocardial biopsy ventricle revealed typical findings granulomatous change for CS. Although did not show any characteristics systemic sarcoidosis, oral prednisolone treatment introduced, and achieved good response. This shows that CS can overlap ARVC, is essential correct
