摘要: Serologic assays are emerging as powerful tools for both diagnosing and screening collections of reptiles exposure to infection with certain pathogens. For the most part, these tests were developed in research laboratories a specific interest diseases captive free-ranging reptiles. Relatively few commercially available, offered through individual or universities. Tests have been paramyxovirus snakes, mycoplasma tortoises crocodilians, her-pesvirus marine turtles tortoises, cryptosporidium spirorchid trematodes sea turtles. Of various serologic tests, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is becoming test application. Although ELISA relatively simple has positive attributes such high sensitivity specificity, indirect format it does require anti-reptile immunoglobulins that recognize bind antibody being assayed. In this report, we review reptile humoral immunity major orders reptiles, available determining pathogens, factors affecting immune response
