摘要: We report on a design-based research study that was conducted over nine months. It chronicles the development and implementation of HeartRun, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training approach for school children. Comparable to an unexpected emergency, HeartRun consists authentic activities involving different roles, game tasks, locations physical objects support process-oriented learning first responders. aims enhance psychological preparedness rescuer thus promotes more prompt appropriate response. In this paper, we describe cycle three (DBR) studies in which explored with order better understand how design mobile environments dimensions seamless learning, analysed children their knowledge-building practices while HeartRun. The has evolved significantly from its initial conception through iterative process (re) designing testing synchronization between digital worlds, learner collaboration ubiquitous knowledge access, i.e. activities. Based our experiences, conclude by discussing challenges shortcomings game-based environments. chronicle simulation children. We examine maximize learning. We derive implications
