摘要: Continuously stirred tank reactors (CSTRs) and fill-and-draw were used to investigate soluble microbial product (SMP) production during anaerobic digestion. with a glucose feed at three different strengths (5, 10, 20 g chemical oxygen demand [COD]/L) four compositions (glucose, glycerol, lactic acid, starch 10 COD/L) solids retention time (SRT) of 15 days. The SMP ranged from 102 588 mg COD/L for the glucose-fed CSTRs between 157 1192 was found increase increasing influent COD (SO). Normalized SMPs (SMP/So) 1.4 3% 12.0, 1.7, 14.7, 3.6% glucose-, glycerol-, acid-, starch-fed reactors, respectively. A model incorporating degradation fitted results carbon-14 tracer studies in all reactors. best-fit parameters this revealed that type dominates any particular system depends not only on strength but also composition reactor.
