摘要: The contraction-induced production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) has been implicated in oxidative stress to skeletal muscle for the past few decades. As research advances more evidence revealed a complete role ROS under both physiological and pathological conditions. current chapter will review redox sensitive signaling pathways conferring exercise-induced major cellular adaptations muscle, focusing on mitochondrial function antioxidant defense systems. Several that have direct impact these adaptations, especially functional roles, mechanisms action crosstalk nuclear factor (NF) κB, mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ co-activator 1α (PGC-1α) be highlighted.
