摘要: Architecture for a scalable, pluggable multi-party, and distributed multimedia conferencing. A centralized policy control conferencing component allows the seamless plug-in of different media components (e.g., data, audio/video, messaging) to accommodate client participation in conference session. The includes following: notification service accepting subscriptions state notifying subscribers about changes that state; roster storing manipulating rosters; security user authorization/authentication based on identity information; scheduling scheduling; an allocation allocating most available component(s) session; and, MCU management components.
