摘要: Over the past two years, National Commission on AIDS has held hearings almost monthly to gain a better understanding of America's relentlessly advancing epidemic human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. We have issued four interim reports containing our findings and recommendations,1 2 3 4 comprehensive two-year report will be published this fall. During period, there been measurable progress in treatment, legislation discourage discrimination, provision federal emergency funding for communities hardest hit by epidemic, some lessening public hostility toward people living with HIV infection or acquired syndrome . . .
