摘要: Introduction: The Danish Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Registry was established in 1956. Content: register comprises data on all Danes who had MS 1949 or have been diagnosed since. Data new cases and updated information persons with an diagnosis already notified are continuously collected classified according to standardized diagnostic criteria. Validity coverage: completeness validity is high (91% 94%, respectively). Conclusion: In January 2005 the included 20,652 a valid diagnosis, of whom 9,377 were alive. only existing nationwide covers period more than 50 years.
