摘要: Veterinary diets are intended for diseased animals and may contain cereal grains, mainly maize and/or wheat. These, in turn, often infected with pathogens of the Fusarium genus, which able to produce numerous harmful mycotoxins. Forty-two samples veterinary dogs cats were analyzed presence species Species identified using molecular methods ergosterol mycotoxins (fumonisin B1, deoxynivalenol, nivalenol zearalenone) quantified HPLC methods. Two identified: proliferatum verticillioides. The highest concentrations fumonisin zearalenone 74.83, 2318.05, 190.90, 45.84 ng/g, respectively. Only 9.5% free from acceptable limits mycotoxin content animal feed, specified by EU regulations, not exceeded any tested. mean was lower than dogs. Thus, it is recommended that examined, since contamination pose additional risk health. knowledge on occurrence scarce as far we aware this first report concerning spp. their important secondary metabolites—mycotoxins—in different types companion Poland.
