摘要: The surfactant-free synthesis of latex polymers styrene and sodium styrenesulfonate (NaSS) was investigated. development size distribution the particles studied by photo-correlation spectroscopy (PCS) transmission electronic microscopy (TEM). effects NaSS concentration order addition reactants were examined in detail. results showed that particle decreases with an increase sulfonate concentration. polydispersity index can be reduced mixing homogeneously before adding initiator, but this leads to a slightly larger mean size.
