摘要: A surfactant-free emulsion polymerization process was developed to produce hollow hybrid nanoparticles (HHNP thereafter). Ultrasonication found not only help the generation of nanosized monomer droplets but also generate surface active species through mediating hydrolysis monomer, 3-(methacryloyloxy) propyltrimethoxysilane (MPS), thus stabilizing oil/water interface. The structure formed based on a soft template approach, where partially hydrolyzed served as emulsifier and polymerized at interface form shell. These HHNPs were used absorb dissolved toluene in water it they could reduce level down zero, hardly being achieved by other methods. Combined with their good colloidal stability water, these are very promising collectors for organic solvents, order high quality from contaminated water.
