摘要: Abstract Along the Gulf Coast there are three Saudi main desalination sites. These are, South to North, Al-Khobar, Al-Jubail and Al-Khafji. In these plants some 300 MIGD of distillate could be produced when all 58 MSF evaporators run at a low top brine temperature (TBT) 90°C. An additional 50 52 designed as well, for high TBT 113°C or more near this temperature. All with additive scale control. Therefore treatment cost vital East Arabian plants. This paper will review original design operating parameters performance. It also report on revisions reviewed developed executed The changes were adopted in an attempt optimize production particularly control dose levels different temperatures. undergone performance trial runs 12 3 ppm. then reduced after warranty periods extremely values 2.2 0.8 ppm
