Impacts of different antiscalant dosing rates and their thermal performance in Multi Stage Flash (MSF) distiller in Kuwait

摘要: This paper describes and compares the thermal schemes, efficiency performance ratios of three different antiscalants (scale inhibitors) 7.2 MIGPD Multi Stage Flash (MSF) distillers which have operated satisfactorily for an extremely long period. The evaluation tests conducted on revealed that all examined were successful in inhibiting alkaline scale formation improving plant at top brine temperature ranging between 105 °C 110 with respective dosing rates 1.5 3.0 ppm.
