摘要: Stem cell therapy has the optimistic goal of regenerating myocardium as defined by re-growth lost or destroyed myocardium. As applied to patients with heart failure, many confuse limit regenerative definition just improving myocardial function and/or decreasing scar formation, which may not be most important clinical outcome achieve in this promising field molecular medicine. Many different stem cell-based therapies have been tested and demonstrated a safe feasible profile adult but varied efficacious end points reported. Although achieved yet, encompassing regenerate is still believed within reach using these first-generation are now being phases trials. Similar efforts foster translation children failure have, however, limited. In review, we aim summarise findings from pre-clinical models experiences date that focussed on evaluation failure. Finally, present methodological considerations pertinent design trial for they represent population very sets issues when compared patients. taught learned clinicians, small adults!
