摘要: Breast cancer as a malignant disease is common in women worldwide. As any other malignancies there are three main aspects the management of breast cancer: diagnosis (early detection crucial), tumor classification/prognosis and treatment. This chapter focuses on practical roles epigenetic alterations (mainly DNA methylation) these clinical problems cancer. methylation signatures especially cell free plasma or serum which originated from cells, promising tools for early Also patterns lymphocytes recent approach diagnosis. Epigenetic tissues can classify tumors precisely may provide new classification beyond conventional histopathological classifications. such histone deacetylation reversible, they appropriate targets epidrugs (DNMT inhibitors HDACis) Finally micro RNAs another player carcinogenesis will have prominent role different prognostication.
