摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews the extrahepatic manifestations in patients with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. HCV is a linear, single-stranded RNA identified and recognized as one of viruses most often associated autoimmune features. Autoimmunity viral infections are closely related, proposed possible etiologic or triggering agents Systemic Autoimmune Diseases (SAD). The clinical association different SAD infection also analyzed. between circulating autoantibodies, organ-specific diseases, lymphoproliferative processes, such thyroiditis Diabetes Mellitus (DM) focused. Circulating autoantibodies detected specific tropism for many cell types, especially blood cells emphasized. therapeutic management HCV-related features challenge patients, whom liver disease severe contributes to very poor prognosis. treatment involves Anti-viral therapy, Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF), Rituximab, Anti-tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) agents.
