摘要: Abstract The longitudinal mixing of sodium carbonate (soda) (mean particle size 137 μm) has been investigated in a laboratory horizontal rotary drum reactor 250 mm diameter and 600 long. distributions residence times have estimated by means pulse small amount bicarbonate. concentration the tracer at discharge evaluated thermal decomposition samples measuring their weight loss. hold-ups, mean variances distribution were as function rotational speed feed rate particles. By applying dispersion model, Peclet numbers from standardized plotted speed. time particles was calculated an extended model Vahl Kingma. They correspond with experiments.
