Magnetoresistance of Small, Quasi-One-Dimensional, Normal-Metal Rings and Lines

摘要: The magnetoresistance of sub-0.4-\ensuremath{\mu}m-diam Au and ${\mathrm{Au}}_{60}$${\mathrm{Pd}}_{40}$ rings was measured in a perpendicular magnetic field at temperatures as low 5 mK search simple, periodic resistance oscillations that would be evidence flux quantization normal-metal rings. However, instead simple oscillations, very complex structure developed the temperatures. Fourier analysis all data did not reveal convincing for Complex similar to observed also found short, narrow, lines. This appears associated with small size devices.
