摘要: Abstract Purpose: Previous studies have reported on the morphologic aspects of bone regeneration after maxillary sinus grafting. However, no previous examinated morphology mucosa The purpose this study was to evaluate histologic changes in lining membrane augmentation. Materials and Methods: A unilateral osteotomy lateral wall, medial displacement bony segments, elevation were performed 12 goats. An autogenous graft combined with coralline particles placed floor three animals, alone other Six goats not grafted used as controls. Samples harvested at 2.5, 4.5, 6.5 months. examined using light microscopy scanning transmission electronic microscopy. Results: surrounded by fibrous connective tissue when alone. addition iliac crest stimulated formation. After augmentation, mucosal showed a lack glands lamina propria, epithelium an increase goblet cells. Conclusion: It concluded that undergoes physiologic adaptations remains healthy free chronic sinusitis
