摘要: Abstract Zeolite imidazole framework-8 (ZIF-8), a representative member of the ZIF class, is new microporous material considered to have strong potential for use in many important industrial applications, such as hydrogen purification and storage catalyst support carbon monoxide oxidation. In this work, we evaluate applicability ZIF-8 (support) by reporting its thermal stability under various gaseous environments. The tests indicate that exhibits highest an inert environment, followed oxidative worst steam atmosphere. results thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) clearly suggest structure depends strongly on gas-phase environment well exposure time. Hydrogen reduction CO oxidation Au/ZIF-8 was performed verify structural framework common preparation application conditions used supported metal catalysts. summary, suitable at low temperatures (below 300 °C) environment. Progressive modification structure, however, still possible during long-term operation, including reactions or pretreatment. This work indicative limitations from practical point view.
