摘要: Susan Harper writes about how a cross-cultural learning community can be formed where people from different cultures are not simply assimilated into school science but seen and heard. This makes reciprocal meaningful for both recent refugees the dominant population. Although maybe refugees, students poorer backgrounds in many countries less likely to choose at post-compulsory level. article discusses some of potential barriers that faced by these students, prevent them participating science. It suggests involved might address issues allow smoother cultural border crossing between students’ culture reducing significance crossing.
