摘要: Intra and interspecific competition may influence the strength of individual specialization in resource use. We evaluated how intra affects degree food use within sub-populations Hoplerythrinus unitaeniatus. To do so, we identified items from fishes collected Pantanal wetland. tested whether was related to H. unitaeniatus density (a proxy intraspecific competition) or a potential competitor (Hoplias malabaricus) using multiple regression. Dietary variation ontogeny. density, instead Hoplias malabaricus had an effect on individuals. A greater leads specialization. Our results point lack In addition, not affected resources. Individuals denser populations consume secondary resources, reducing effects becoming more specialists.
