摘要: The hypothesis is made that the vorticity distribution in a field of random two-dimensional (two-dimensional turbulence) develops discontinuities. energy spectrum then calculated and shown to behave like k^(−4) for large values wave-number k. rates decay mean square velocity are estimated. An expression growth length scale obtained it noted size turbulent trailing vortices apparently well fitted by formula.
