摘要: Background The link between travel and the risk of venous thromboembolic disease (VTED) has been widely suspected. However, only cases or series have reported in literature. Study objectives By means a case-control study, we sought to confirm this relationship determine main features, if any, these posttravel VTEDs. Design history, particular history recent travel, 160 patients presenting our department with VTED was scrupulously investigated.
