Analysis of gum bleeding among children aged 12-15 years in Jiangxi Province and related influencing factors.

摘要: OBJECTIVE To study the prevalence of gum bleeding in children aged 12-15 years Jiangxi Province and related influencing factors for development effective prevention treatment strategies. METHODS A multistage cluster stratified sampling method was used to select 8,160 this study. Enrolled completed a set survey questionnaires covering children's gender, age, parents' educational level, oral health knowledge scores, attitude brushing habits addition dental examination. All data were analyzed using chi-square test logistic regression. RESULTS Among children, rate 66.5 percent (95% CI: 65.8%-68.1%). The urban (68.0 percent) higher than that rural areas (65.0 (P < 0.01); boys (67.6 girls (65.4 (P < 0.05). results binary regression analysis showed areas, mother education, score, frequency all important affecting bleeding. CONCLUSION This incidence is high which affected by their mother's several other factors. These new findings form baseline information essential more approaches prevent control regions future.
