摘要: Application of two dimensional Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis to the studies on chromosomal nonhistone proteins revealed their exceptional heterogeneity (1, 2). Assuming that at least some these participate in process differentiation and regulation genetic transcription, they should be cell specific. Because unique selectivity sensitivity, immunological procedures are well suited for probing tissue specificity structural associations. Antibodies histones (3) (4–7) were used study chromatin structure or cellular distribution respective antigens. Specific antisera localized nuclear protein antigens selected areas polytene chromosomes (5) nucleoli normal malignant cells (8). Isolated intact (9,10) dehistonized (11, 12) chromatin, (8, 13) membrane (14, 15) all found immunogenic when injected into rabbits other animals. Some recognized tissue-specific changes during 16) carcinogenesis (17–19).
