摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter includes methods for detecting RNA polymerase (RNAP) class I, II, and III autoantibodies with pathogenic role in animal model. RNAPs play a central basic genetic processes responsible producing maintaining the proteins nucleic acids of cell. exist all eukaryotic cells, tissues, organs. In immunofluorescence antinuclear antibody test, anti-RNAP I antibodies produce speckled staining nucleolus interphase cells punctate nucleolar organizing regions mitotic chromosomes. Radioimmunoprecipitation assays [35S]-methionine-labeled cell extract as antigen source is preferred method RNAP antibodies. Autoantibodies to are specific SSc, especially SSc diffuse cutaneous involvement seriousinternal organ involvement. II found systemic sclerosis well lupus erythematosus overlap syndromes. The variable disease associations among Japanese, U.S. Caucasians, African Americans suggest that factors influence production these autoantibodies.
