摘要: The study of population changes has always been at the centre public policy and planning. People’s movements, interactions behaviors will inevitably have an important impact on society environment that they are living in. At same time, such also lead to evolution itself over time. Advances in technologies new tools often bring visions studies. To facilitate strategic decision making plan developments for a more sustainable future, it is vital understand our population. This paper introduces Moses, individual based model simulates UK through discrete demographic processes fine spatial scale 30 years from 2001 2031. modeling method grounded dynamic MicroSimulation Model (MSM), but introduced Agent Based (ABM) insights strengthen distinctively different sub-populations. MSM can not only produce projections baseline with rich information individuals various studies, be useful providing assessment multiple scenarios planning applications. In this paper, we demonstrate three applications areas residential land use planning, health transport Whilst demonstrations deliberately made simple, contribution intelligent agents interaction, behavior personal histories clearly shown. Within framework, enables researchers effectively heterogeneous units large scale, as well provide flexibility introduce techniques aspects model.
